I enjoy the whole "fish out of water" vibe from the book, although Walt is rarely uncomfortable anywhere - he finds allies and kindred souls in the most unlikely places.

(Oh, and a significant event that I'd read about in the series finally happens in this book - can't wait to see if the television series goes in that direction). This one could be subtitled "Walt and the Cheyenne Nation take Philly", but despite the absence of the local Wyoming colorful characters, the fully fleshed out Moretti family more than makes up for it. "This series of books is such a delight to read. "The quick pace and tangled web of interconnected crimes will keep readers turning pages."-Publishers Weekly But when he turns up dead, Walt is back to square one.

Walt believes her ex-boyfriend is behind the crime, and searches him out. Longmire's third outing takes him from Wyoming to Philadelphia to investigate a brutal assault on his daughter Cady. Craig Johnson's Walt Longmire mysteries are critically acclaimed.
